This album defined my high school years.

I got absolutely annihilated for sticking behind this band but i never caved.

I still remember being 13 yeas old and hand-writing a letter to Benji which was roughly about 5 pages long. I found the fanmail address inside of the album cover. The page was covered in ink splodges from my tears as i had chosen to write about my estranged relationship with my own father. Embarrassing, yes, but it’s shaped who i am today.

It was never about who had the most tattoos, or who knew the most underrated pop punk bands, who had the best hair or any of that other bullshit that killed the scene.

It was about going to shows and having the best time jumping around with other kids who wanted to be different!

I’m sat here, 22 years young with so many amazing friendships, memories, experiences and life lessons thanks to this band.

No regrets.

brings back memories. I remember I bought a copy just to cut their pictures out from the back and glue them on my binder...
